The Love Behind Louarchi

Hi, I’m Rilee – Founder + Principal Designer at Louarchi Design!

Louarchi started as a passion project squeezed between full-time hours in the event design world and part-time interior decorating for friends and family. I’ve always loved creating spaces that feel expressive, personal, and a little rebellious—inspired by my mom, who dabbled in design when I was growing up, and by my own obsession with mixing colors, textures, and patterns that flow effortlessly.

After moving to Chicago in 2022, I worked in the world of home furnishings, creating a career that was fulfilling and showed me my true passion. This brand was built on hustle, heart, and the belief that good design is inspired by the world around us. I believe your home should feel like a reflection of you—bold, lived-in, layered with stories. Whether I’m sourcing one-of-a-kind finds or building out an entire space plan, I lead with intuition, collaboration, and a whole lot of intention.

If you’re craving a space that feels playful, elevated, and totally you—you’re in the right place.

Unexpected Expression

We celebrate fearless creativity - mixing colors, patterns, and eras to create something unapologetically you. Conventional is our least favorite word.

Everyday Luxury

We believe you don’t have to be a millionaire to live like one. We design homes that look like a dream and work for real life.

Material Honesty

From woven cane to high-gloss lacquer, we honor natural textures and thoughtful finishes that bring life and story into a space.

Collaborative Spirit

We don’t design at you - we design with you. Our process is grounded in trust, transparency, and shared vision.

Thoughtful Design

We design with longevity in mind—curating pieces, investing in quality, and choosing materials that are kind to the planet. Sustainability isn’t a trend for us—it’s a mindset.

Why “Louarchi?”

Louarchi is named after Rilee’s two cats, Louis and Archie.

Louis entered Rilee's life in 2019 at two weeks old from her hometown shelter in Oklahoma. After nursing him back to health. Archie was adopted from an anti-cruelty foundation in Chicago in 2023 as a foster failure, and both cats have been constant companions through late-night design sessions and big creative leaps. Naming the business after them was Rilee’s way of keeping something personal at the heart of it all—because great design, like great company, should feel like home.
